April Clark Thompson Easley, South Carolina April Michelle Thompson, 44, found peace on Friday, September 20, 2024. Born April 4, 1980, in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Stanley and Debbie Clark of Easley, SC. April had a beautiful soul and energy that you could feel when she walked into a room. Her incredibly quick wit would leave you laughing days later, and you knew she loved you by the amount of times she picked on you. Her smile would not only warm you but excite you, because she brought an air of excitement with her wherever she was. You looked forward to the next time you would see her, and we all look forward to seeing her again one day at the feet of Jesus. April found enjoyment in everything she did whether it was doing hair, cooking, painting, or tending to her dogs; and you best believe whatever she was doing she had her lip gloss on. April most enjoyed her camping days at Mile Creek with her boys, friends, and family. April was the former co-owner of Cuttin’ Loose in Pickens, SC and more recently the owner of Georgia Street Café in Simpsonville. April loved people, loved life and she loved her family. She lived life to the beat of her own drum and left us all chasing behind her in her shadow. Her memory will live on in the stories that will be shared between friends and family. She was larger than life, she was the epitome of sunshine mixed with a little hurricane. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Scott Thompson of Fountain Inn, SC. Her sons, Bryson Durham (Kourtney Raiden) and Korbyn Durham of Pickens. Her big sister, Brandie Walker (Tom House) of Pickens, and her nieces, Skyler and Savannah Walker, and her great-nephew, Dawson Walker. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joe and Liz Carr of Tennessee, and J.P and Toye Clark of Arkansas. Also, her big brother-in-law, Joey Walker, and her nephew, Tristan Walker. A visitation with the family will be held at Mountain View Funerals and Cremations in Pickens, South Carolina on Monday, September 30, 2024, between the hours of 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. April loved pretty flowers but, if felt led to do so, donations can be made in her memory to Halle’s House, a 12-step residential recovery home and program for women who suffer from addiction.
