Catherine Thompson Cantrell Pickens, South Carolina Catherine Thompson Cantrell, age 83, wife of the late Virgil Charles Cantrell, passed from this life Sunday, April 03, 2022. Born in Oconee County a daughter of the late Hattie Holcomb Thompson and Howell Lamar Thompson. Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Survivors include children; Susan Looper (Don), Tim Cantrell (Sherry) and Rhonda Cantrell Owen all of Pickens, Grandchildren; Kelly Page (Wayne), Jennifer Kelly (Jason), Amber Crocker (Bryan), Austin Cantrell, great grandchildren; J. T. Kelly, Kallum Page, River Crocker, two sisters; Margaret Cassady (Bo), Diane Coleman Visitation will be held 3:00pm until 4:00pm Wednesday, April 06, 2022 at Solid Rock Baptist Church with memorial service to follow at 4:00pm. Predeceased by her husband of sixty years, parents, siblings Gertrude Vissage, Josephine Wilson, George P. Thompson, Wade Thompson, Larry Thompson and Homer Thompson.
