Clealon H. Barrett Pickens, South Carolina Clealon H. Barrett, 77, loving wife of the late Earl Barrett, passed away from this life on Friday January 28, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Barrett was born on January 9, 1945, to the late Vesse and Ollie Hoxit. Clealon enjoyed gospel music, reading her bible, being outdoors, and telling people about the Lord. She was a member of Bethel Independent Baptist Church. Survivors include her children; Lisa Whitmire (Roger) of Pickens, and Timmy Barrett of Columbia, grandchildren; Candice Anthony (Nate), Brandon Whitmire (Brooke), Cody Whitmire, Travis Barrett (Brooke), Bailey Barrett, Taylor Green (Josh), Zachery Barrett, and Britany Barrett, her siblings; Palmer Hoxit, Virginia Bates, and Faye Cassell, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Joseph Murphee. In addition to her husband Earl, Mrs. Barrett was predeceased by her parents, a son Tony Barrett, and her siblings, Wayne, Newell, Pearline, and Hazel. Funeral Services will take place on Monday January 31, 2022, at Bethel Independent Baptist Church located at 1037 Gentry Memorial Highway, Easley, South Carolina, 29640, beginning at 11:00 am. Mountain View Funeral Home is serving the Barrett Family.
