Doyle Harvey Britton Central, South Carolina Doyle Harvey Britton, 81, loving husband of 51 years to Rosa Lee Britton, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Prisma Health - OMH. Born March 01, 1941 in Liberty, South Carolina, Doyle was the son of the late Woodrow Britton and Nannie Mae Britton. Doyle retired as a custodian from Pickens Middle School. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee of the home; brother Buddy Britton of Six Mile, SC and several Nieces, Nephews, including Kenneth (Nikie) Stephens of Central, SC, Pam (Stephen) Scruggs of Seneca, SC, Stoney (Jackie) Stephens of Pickens, SC, Gary (Lori) Stephens of Seneca, SC and a host of others. Mr. Britton was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Gerald Britton and a sister, Nellie Fay Britton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place following the service at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Boyce Whitman will be officiating. Flowers will be accepted.
