Jeffrey Dean Cassell Pickens, South Carolina Jeffrey Dean Cassell, 63, husband of Joelynn T. Garrett, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at his home. Mr. Cassell is survived by his wife Joelynn of the home, a son Brian Garrett of Pickens, his “two best pals in the whole wide world” Cameron and JuneBug, a brother Tim Cassell (Laura) of Marietta, a sister Jennifer Matthews (Robert) of Easley, a sister-in-law Dorothy Taylor of Pickens, four nephews, five nieces, three great-nephews, and two great-nieces. Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents Jesse Miller Cassell and Gladys Pinion Cassell. Mr. Cassell was a proud Shriner of the Hejaz Temple. A private service will be held for Mr. Cassell. Donations can be made in Jeffrey’s honor to MD Anderson (1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030) or the South Carolina Autism Society (318 Prado Way, Greenville, SC 29607). Mountain View Funeral Home is serving the Cassell family.
