Michael Jordan Reece (Goose) Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael Jordan Reece (Goose) Pickens, South Carolina Michael Jordan Reece, age 68, son of the late Paul Jordan and Julia Langston Reece, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at St. Francis Downtown Hospital. A native of Pickens County, Goose was born on September 26, 1953. He loved gardening, computers and playing the guitar. Survivors include his children; Weston Reece of Athens Georgia, and Jordan Reece of Gainesville Georgia, a brother; Scott Reece (Michelle) of Pickens; nieces, Julia Reece of Pickens, Stephanie Seigle (Josh) of Dacusville and Allison Gillespie (Robert Mason) Clemson; grandnieces and grandnephews, Ryland Gillespie, Ava Seigle, Mitchell Mason, McKinley Mason, Lily Mason, Ansley Mason, and Nolan Mason; cousins, Eugenia Beach, Brantley Beach, both of Walterboro, SC and Dr. Kevin Beach (Rebecca) and their children, Austin, Katherine, Caroline and Thomas of St. Simons Island, GA. Mr. Reece was predeceased by his parents. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at 1835 Table Rock Rd, Pickens, SC 29671 (Gravel Rd, Turn left on to) Table Rock Rd (Hwy 288) after intersection of Carrick Creek Rd. Wilderness campgrounds will be on the left. Map will be posted soon. The family asks that you please bring your own chairs as seating is limited. Dress casual as we will be outside, in the woods. Trail to waterfall (Amelia Falls) that anyone is welcome to go to before, during, of after the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses. Mountain View Funeral Home – Pickens Chapel is serving the Reece Family.
