Michael “Mike” Lester Whittemore Pickens, South Carolina Mike Whittemore, 73, passed from this life Sunday, December 2, 2018. Born in Saco, Maine, he is a son of the late Ronald Bertrum Whittemore and Pauline Larson Whittemore. Mike was employed as a Manager with Bi-Lo and was a Veteran of The United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the 700 Club. Survivors include his fiancé Harriett C. Whittemore of Pickens, daughters; Jenny Edwards of Easley, Jody Johnson (Larry) of Belton, sons; Michael Whittemore (Lois) of Easley, Michael Keith Morrow (Michelle) of Simpsonville, grandchildren; Jeffrey Brewer, David Whittemore, Holly Edwards Menendez, Corey Edwards, Seth Taylor, Brandon Edwards, and Summer Whittemore, great grandchildren; Riley and Devin Brewer, Joseph Menendez, Carson and Colton Menendez, brothers; Alfred Bradshaw-Whittemore (Gloria), Ronald Whittemore (Judy) and a sister Sandra Edens (James). Mike was predeceased by his parents and a great grandson Matthew Taylor. Visitation will be 10 AM until 11 AM Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11 AM.
