Rena McPherson Solesbee Landrum, South Carolina Rena McPherson Solesbee, 64, wife of twelve years to Ben Solesbee, passed away Saturday February 11, 2022 at her residence. Rena was the daughter of the late Betty Jo Fulford Byrd and Leon Vernon Byrd. In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Solesbee was survived by one daughter; Olivia McPherson Elmore (Chance) of Lyman, two step-daughter; Melisha Suttles (Jason) of Landrum, Ashley Solesbee of Landrum, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. Family will receive friends on Friday February 18, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Faith Baptist Church Sanctuary with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Solebee was predeceased by her parents, stepfather Ray Sullivan and first husband Thomas McPherson. Mountain View Funeral Home is serving the Solesbee family.
