Roger Gail Ritter Westminster, SC Mr. Roger Gail Ritter, age 70, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born September 30, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Clifford E. Ritter and Shirley E. Ritter (maiden name Whitsel). Mr. Ritter was a United States Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving son, husband for 29 years to Kimberly A. Ritter, as well as a father and grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his five children: Jason (wife Nicole) Ritter of Michigan, Lei (husband Robert) Wurster of Cincinnati, OH; Dylan (wife Gabrielle) Ritter of Michigan; Tracy Ritter (fiancé Michael) of Chattanooga, TN, and Clifford Ritter of Westminster, SC. Five grandchildren, Meadow, Trey, Miranda, Annalise, and Viviana; as well as four brothers; Clifford (wife Adrianne), Richard (wife Bronwen), Bruce (wife Jane), and David (wife Teresa) Ritter, and two sisters Lisa (husband Steve) Buckley, and Lori (husband Tom) Margopoulos. Mr. Ritter took great pride in helping his community and dedicated the last several years of his life into spearheading We Care Community Center in Westminster, SC. He lovingly served over 200 families each week at the local food pantry with food, clothes, hugs, and prayers. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
