William H. Prater (Bones) Seneca, South Carolina William H. Prater, 72, son of the late Howard Keith Prater and the late Helen Prater Waters passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Oconee County, Bones was born on October 24, 1949. He loved the mountains, the outdoors, and gardening. Survivors include his siblings; Randy Prater, Beverly Prater, and Martha Prater, along with his cousins; Kendra and Jennifer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Prater was predeceased by his brother Jimmy Prater. Flowers will be accepted. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Mountain View Funeral Home – Seneca Chapel from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 in the chapel with burial at Oconee Memorial Park. Mountain View Funeral Home – Seneca Chapel is serving the Prater Family.
