Ann Browning Salem, South Carolina Ann Browning went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived each day with grace, kindness, and unwavering love. Born on November 7, 1960, to John and Virginia Galloway, Ann grew up in the close-knit Pickett Post community, where her roots ran deep and her heart was always open to others. Ann married the love of her life, Allen, on January 1, 1982. Together, they shared 43 beautiful years filled with laughter, devotion, and countless memories. Whether working on outdoor projects, riding through the mountains, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, their bond was a true example of love and partnership. Their home was a place of warmth, joy, and unconditional love. Ann was a devoted mother to her daughter, Shannon. Their relationship was filled with laughter, long talks, shared songs, and heartfelt stories. Ann often said, “I love you with all my mommy heart,” and she meant it with every fiber of her being. In 2017, Shannon married Kevin Barnes, and Ann’s heart expanded to welcome not only a son-in-law but also a precious granddaughter, Carlee. Her love for Kevin and Carlee was deep and immediate, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Ann shared a special bond with her brother, Eddie, and his wife, Juanita. Time spent with them was treasured, and their presence brought her comfort and joy. Her church family at Charity Baptist Church in Salem held a special place in her heart. Ann was a faithful member who found great joy in worship and fellowship. She loved every person who walked through the church doors and considered them part of her extended family. Above all, Ann loved Jesus Christ. Her greatest peace came from singing praises to her King and sharing His love with others. Her daily prayer was that everyone would come to know Him as their Savior. Ann’s life was a testament to love, faith, and kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and unwavering devotion to her family and her faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Charity Baptist Church, 224 Sunrise Dr, Salem, SC 29676. Flowers will be accepted.
