Justin Scott Gasper Easley, South Carolina Justin Scott Gasper, age 34, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Born on October 6, 1989, in Easley, South Carolina, Justin was the beloved son of Duane Scott Gasper and Dianna Lynn Bill McDaniel. He found his greatest joy in the simple beauty of life, especially in nature and the outdoors, where he felt most at home. Whether he was spending time at the lake, casting a line while fishing, or out on the water boating, Justin embraced every moment with a free spirit and a deep appreciation for the world around him. Justin never met a stranger; his warm, welcoming personality drew people in instantly. He had a smile that could light up any room and a one-of-a-kind laugh, often compared to a goat, that was as unforgettable as it was contagious. Being around him made it nearly impossible to stay sad for long. A true enthusiast, Justin had a special love for Ford Mustangs and took great pride in his work as an auto mechanic, where his skills and passion for vehicles shined. He also had a fondness for the Fourth of July, enjoying the celebration, the excitement, and the time spent with those he loved. Above all, Justin cherished his family. He loved them deeply and made it a priority to be present, never missing an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories together. His love, laughter, and vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his sons, Kayden Ford Gasper and Maverick Scott Gaser; his siblings, Elizabeth Gasper of Liberty, Stefanie Lollis of Dacusville, and Brittany Bastian of New York; his adoptive mom, Alice Joanne Garrett; grandmother, Alice Jean Shove; nieces and nephews, Brody Scott Williams, Brooklyn Joy Williams, Kynlee Alice Cain, Eva Lynn, Brianna, Lilliana, Anthony, Kevin, Nolan, and Leonnel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Gasper was predeceased by his sister, Casey Lynn Ramirez; grandmother, Brenda Joyce Brackett; and grandfathers, Donald Emmanuel Gasper and Bruce Allen Shove. A memorial service to honor Justin’s life will be announced at a later date. Flowers will be accepted. Mountain View Funeral Home is serving the Gasper family.
