Mary Eloise Bryant Easley, South Carolina Mary Eloise Bryant, 94, of Easley, South Carolina, passed peacefully from this life into her heavenly home on May 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Eloise lived a life rooted in unwavering faith, deep love for her family, and a servant’s heart toward others. Eloise retired from JP Stevens after many years of dedicated work. Beyond her career, she was known as a devoted caretaker, a faithful prayer warrior, and the heart of her family. Her relationship with her Lord and Savior was the foundation of her life, guiding the love, strength, and compassion she so freely gave to those around her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than caring for those she loved. Eloise also loved working in her yard and staying busy, sitting still was simply never part of who she was. She worked hard, loved deeply, and continued to live life with determination and purpose until her health declined. Eloise is survived by her son Dewayne (Debbie) Bryant and daughter Karen Finley; her cherished five grandchildren Lesslie (Johnny) Whitfield, Josh (Nicole) Bryant, Carrie (Glenn) Buddin, Alicia (Dennis) Alexander, and Jason Finley; seventeen great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five brothers and four sisters who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George W. Bryant (“Bud”), with whom she shared 40 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in August 1990. Her love and devotion to him remained steadfast throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her parents Grover Cleveland and Eva Brewer Moore, as well as one brother, one sister, five half siblings, and two stepbrothers. Eloise leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, kindness, and unconditional love that will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home in Pickens with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place following the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
